He doesn't remember much about himself. Just a room, small and closed, where he spent years as a kid. Now the door is open. Aladdin has a flute, and when he blows it, a djinn named Ugo shows up, huge and blue and loyal. The world out there is wide and strange, and Aladdin walks into it. Then he learns what he actually is. A Magi, one of those rare magicians whose power is strong enough to tilt the whole world. Their job: pick a king, help him raid the Dungeons, and pull djinns out of those traps. In a busy market he meets Alibaba, a poor kid with big plans and not much nerve, and the two head for a Dungeon together. But choosing a king is not a game. Every Magi shapes a country, and a country can crush people or save them. Aladdin barely knows his own past, and he's already dragging a friend toward a throne. What kind of king will he pick, and what happens to Alibaba if he picks wrong?
