Torako Koshi has it all figured out. Student council president, perfect grades, everyone at school either adores her or wants to be her. What they don't know: two years ago she ruled the hallways as a full on delinquent, and she would rather die than let that slip. Then one morning on the walk to school, a girl with antlers sprouting from her head steps out of nowhere and looks right through the act. Noko Shikanoko, that's her name. She says strange things, chews on desks, follows Torako home. And somehow she knows exactly who Torako used to be. So now the honors student is stuck babysitting a deer girl to keep her mouth shut. Every innocent question from a classmate, every teacher walking past, could blow the whole thing wide open. To keep an eye on her, Torako even ends up running the brand new Deer Club, which Noko somehow got the school to approve. Nobody can explain Noko. Not where she comes from, not what she eats, not why she keeps grinning like she's holding all the cards. Is she a threat, a friend, or just some weird kid with antlers who wandered in off the street? And how long can a former terror keep pretending to be a saint?
