Detectives These Days Are Crazy!

Keiichirou Nagumo was the kid everyone whispered about in high school, the one who solved cases the police had already given up on. Now he's past thirty, unshaven, slumped in a dusty office, taking whatever boring job lands on his desk. The glory days are gone and he knows it. Then the door slams open. Hard. A high school girl named Mashiro storms in and announces she's his new assistant, whether he likes it or not. He tries to shoo her away. She doesn't budge. So the partnership begins, and it's a strange one: she drags him into the world of modern gadgets and apps, while he has to keep her wild energy and surprising strength from wrecking everything in sight. Two detectives, one generation apart, sharing the same cramped office. Can a burned-out has-been really keep up with a girl who refuses to take no for an answer?
