Rebecca Miyamoto has a degree from MIT and a classroom of tenth graders at Momotsuki Academy. There is one small problem. She's eleven years old, and the kids in Class 1-C are taller than she is, louder than she is, and in no mood to take orders from a child. She stands at the front in her tiny suit, chalk in hand, while the girls in the back row swap notes and ignore her completely. Then there are the aliens. They hover around the school watching Rebecca, taking notes of their own, and they are not exactly the competent kind. Between a runaway class trip, a staff room full of teachers who treat her like a mascot, and a group of students who seem determined to test every ounce of her patience, Rebecca's fancy diploma is not going to help her much. She can solve equations that would stump grown scientists, sure. But can she get four squabbling classes through a single school day without everything falling apart?
