A meteor slams into Earth and suddenly there's this new power source called Beamler humming inside it. Someone builds a battle robot, GoShogun, and a fortress that teleports, Good Thunder. Then the Docougar syndicate comes knocking. Neo Neros wants that secret, and he wants it bad enough to corner the inventor himself. The old man chooses death over handing it over. So Neo Neros shifts his sights to the son. The kid ends up on Good Thunder, taken in by a crew that now has a target on its back and a robot in its hangar. They move from place to place, hitting back at Docougar's forces wherever they pop up, GoShogun doing the heavy lifting while the fortress blinks them across the map. It's a chase with a lot of collateral damage and not much of a plan. But the syndicate isn't going to stop hunting the boy, and Neo Neros doesn't seem like the type to forgive a setback. How long can a ship full of misfits keep outrunning an organization that owns half the shadows?
