Ginrei's dress goes missing. That is the whole crisis in episode one, and the enemy ends up wearing it as a disguise, which somehow works. Then someone builds a giant robot that looks exactly like her, and the crew has to deal with a machine wearing their teammate's face. The last case drags Tetsugyu and Ginrei into a desert that plays by wild west rules, where a research team vanished and nobody knows what is waiting out there. Underneath the jokes runs a real fight. A scientist named Shizuma and his people built an engine that could replace oil and gas for good, and Big Fire wants it. Daisaku Kusama climbs into Giant Robo to stop them, but the enemy keeps slipping around him in stranger and stranger ways. Can one pilot and one robot really keep the world's next power source out of the wrong hands, or is Big Fire already a step ahead?
