Mahiro just wants to get through high school, but a monster made of nightmares has other plans. It jumps him out of nowhere, and it is not alone: this thing works for an alien entertainment outfit that wants to kidnap him and put him in a boys' love shoot. Then a silver-haired girl crashes in, swings something hard, and the monster is gone. Her name is Nyaruko. She says she is Nyarlathotep, the crawling chaos from Lovecraft's books, and she has been sent to Earth to guard him. Here is the catch. She moves in. Then a shy girl named Cthuko shows up, glued to Nyaruko, and a boy named Hasuta, who everyone keeps mistaking for a pretty girl, joins the pile. Three aliens, one small house, zero peace. Nyaruko keeps grinning and calling herself his protector while turning his daily life into a mess of dropped plates and surprise attacks, and Mahiro mostly yells at all of them to go home. They never do. The threats do not stop either. Alien producers, other gods, whatever the universe throws next, it all lands on Mahiro's head. So how long can an ordinary guy survive being the most wanted boy in the galaxy?
