Lupin and Jigen want the Little Comet, a diamond rumored to be a chunk of a fallen meteor, locked away in East Doroa. The border is sealed tight because a singer named Queen Malta was shot dead next door in West Doroa, and the two countries are ready to tear each other apart. Does that stop them? Of course not. Then a sniper named Yael Okuzaki nearly puts a bullet through Jigen. This guy carves a headstone for every target before he pulls the trigger, and nobody has ever walked away after seeing their own name on stone. What starts as a simple jewel heist turns into a hunt, with a killer on their trail and a quiet war between two nations as the backdrop. Fujiko gets dragged into the mess too, and soon the three of them are dodging bullets while digging into a string of murders that started the whole conflict. Can a thief outrun a man who has already dug his grave?
