A yakuza boss wants a bodyguard for his floating casino, so he hires Goemon Ishikawa. A sword for hire on a cruise ship full of cards and cash. Simple job, right? Then Lupin shows up to rob the same casino. And someone else shows up too: a man they call the Ghost of Bermuda, who blows the place apart and kills Goemon's employer on the spot. The guy walks away with a promise on his lips. He came for Lupin. Goemon is left with nothing but a dead boss he was supposed to protect. His honor is in pieces, and the only way to fix it is to hunt the killer down. One problem. This man is stronger and faster than anything Goemon has ever faced. So the samurai has to do more than sharpen his blade. He has to sharpen himself. Lupin and Jigen will lend a hand, whether he asks or not. But what happens when a swordsman's pride demands a fight his body may not survive?
