Chateau Dankworth hunts people for money and she is good at it. Cold, untouchable, all business. Then a man beats her in a fight and she cannot do a thing about it. Worse, he starts showing up everywhere, and he is clearly not there to collect a bounty. He is there for her. Turns out the stranger is Song Ryang-ha, an assassin so efficient he once killed eighteen top officials in a single night. Her own company wants him dead, and she is handed the job. So he makes her an offer: he will feed her the locations of her targets if she agrees to go out with him. She says yes, reluctantly. Then the gifts start arriving. Not flowers. Criminals, tied up and nicely wrapped, men from her own list, delivered straight to her door. Old enemies begin circling both of them, and the deal that kept them close is starting to look like a death sentence. How long can you keep dating the man you are supposed to kill?
