A stranger walks into the photo studio and kills Qiao Ling and Cheng Xiaoshi on the spot. Their crime? Playing with time. Lu Guang survives, inherits his friend's ability to jump into the past, and goes back to undo it all. Simple plan: save everyone before the man ever gets the chance. Then he lands in Bridon, helping Cheng Xiaoshi hunt for his father, and nothing lines up the way it should. Small details are off. People say things that don't fit. The future he used to read so easily goes blank in his hands, and the man who took everything is still out there somewhere, waiting. Without his old tricks, Lu Guang has to build a new plan from scratch, and he can't tell anymore which version of events is the real one. What happens when the one person who knows how this ends stops being sure of anything?
