Ichiro Hanada is a walking headache for his whole village. He yanks his sister's skirt, shouts rude things at neighbors, and drives his mother so crazy she chases him down the street more days than not. Then one afternoon he swipes a bicycle and pedals straight into the path of a truck. Nine stitches in the back of his head later, he wakes up in a hospital bed with a bald patch and something far worse than a scar: he can see dead people now. Ghosts. Actual ghosts, standing in his room, staring at him. Here's the catch. These aren't random spirits. They're people who died recently with unfinished business, and Ichiro is the only living soul who can hear them. So they line up. They beg, they nag, they refuse to leave until he fixes whatever is keeping them stuck. A kid who can barely behave himself is suddenly handling the last wishes of the dead, and every single errand teaches him something he never asked to learn. He grumbles, he schemes, he tries to wriggle out of it. But the ghosts keep coming, and the village keeps watching this loud little menace slowly turn into someone else. What happens when the boy nobody could stand becomes the only one the dead can count on?
