Just Because!

The last year of high school is already a mess of exam prep and quiet panic about what comes next. Then Eita Izumi walks back into class. Four years gone, no warning, and suddenly he's sitting right there like nothing ever happened. Mio still carries feelings she never said out loud. Haruto can't think about anything but baseball. Hazuki keeps to her concert band, apart from the rest. And Ena, a year below them, is fighting to keep the photography club from being shut down for good. Eita's used to moving. His dad's job never let him stay anywhere long, so another transfer should be routine. Except this time it drops him back in his old hometown for one final semester, right as everyone else is trying to figure out how to say goodbye. Old memories surface. Buried feelings don't stay buried. Nobody planned for any of this, least of all Eita. With graduation closing in fast, the easy days are over, and every one of them has to decide what they actually want from each other. Will any of them manage to say it before the school gates close behind them for the last time?
