Hello! Sandybell
Sandybell runs wild through the Scottish hills, and she laughs easily for a girl whose mother is gone. She has her dad, she has the wind, and she has no idea that anything is missing. Then a rich woman hands her a white lily. Just a flower. But the gift cracks something open, and questions about her mother start coming out of the walls. Then comes the day that tears her life apart, and the girl who never left home is suddenly on a train to London with a suitcase and a head full of half answers. The city is loud and cold and nobody there knows her name. She follows one clue to the next, and every one she finds drags up something she was never supposed to learn. What was that lily supposed to mean? And who is the woman who gave it to her, the one person in London who seems to know exactly who Sandybell really is?
