Kazuya knows his way around a computer. So when his childhood rival Kotaro Nanbara slips him a virus, Kazuya fights back the only way he can think of: he places a special order. Minutes later, a package shows up at his door. Inside is May, a cyberdoll the size of his hand, fifteen centimeters tall, blinking up at him and ready to help. She fits in a teacup. She also fits in a lot of trouble. Here is the problem. Kazuya never had the money to pay for her. He barely scrapes by as it is. Cyberdyne wants its product back, and they are not the patient type. So now he is hiding a tiny girl from a company that knows exactly where she is, dodging Nanbara's smug face at every turn, and trying to keep May out of sight long enough to figure out what to do with her. She keeps wandering off. He keeps losing track of her. The bills keep piling up. May does not seem to understand that she is not supposed to be here. Neither does Kazuya, really. So who is going to blink first: the guy who cannot afford a single cyberdoll, or the corporation that built her?
