Haruto Bouida has a strict rule: real girls are off limits. Not out of shyness, he's just a devoted otaku who believes once you cross over to the 3D side, there's no coming back. So he keeps his distance, watching from afar, until the day a figure of Nona goes on sale. She's the heroine of Girls → Planetary Investigation, the anime he can't stop thinking about. He buys one without hesitating and sets her front and center in his apartment, where she'll look nice and stay safely fictional. Then she moves. The figure just gets up and starts talking, right there on his shelf, in his room, like it's the most normal thing in the world. Suddenly Haruto isn't collecting anymore. He's living with her. His quiet otaku routine collapses fast. Nona has opinions, habits, and no patience for a guy who spent years convincing himself that 2D was enough. Every day together blurs the line he drew so carefully, and he has to ask himself what he actually wants, a partner made of plastic or the real thing. But the figure came to life for a reason, and does anyone, Haruto included, have the slightest idea what happens next?
