Haseo was a monster in The World: R2. Level 133, a player killer hunter everyone called the Terror of Death, and he ran with the Twilight Brigade before it fell apart. Then he picks a fight with Azure Kite, some white-haired kid he swears is Tri-Edge. It isn't a fight. One Data Drain and Haseo drops from 133 to level 1. No gear. No weapons. No contact list. Just an empty inventory and one ugly question: how does a player even have that skill? Six months ago Tri-Edge attacked Shino, and her real body has been in a coma ever since. Haseo hunts the killer through every zone, and the hunt finally gives him something back: an Avatar called Skeith, a thing he can summon to wield the same Data Drain that ruined him. Now he is strong again. Strong enough to chase the one player whose victims never log back in. But if Azure Kite has the same power, if Data Drain can erase a person twice, what happens to Shino if Haseo is wrong about who he is really chasing?
