Takuma Hirose can't see a thing. No doctor can tell him why. So his family ships him off to a quiet village to live with his uncle, and that's where things get strange. A girl named Otoha shows up and, just like that, gives him his sight back. Temporarily. Now that he can see, Takuma starts poking around. He notices that everyone in the village treats Hayami Kohinata like she's done something unforgivable. He doesn't know what. He doesn't care. He decides to help her anyway, and the more he digs, the more the village's dark secrets start spilling out. Hinata is tangled up in it too. Why does an entire village hate one girl, and what is Otoha really after by letting Takuma see her?
