A little girl named Kohina lives by herself, eats cup ramen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and insists she is a doll. One day she tries a simple summoning game and gets a fox spirit named Kokkuri-san. Long silver hair, very handsome, very full of himself. He arrives ready to do his job: haunt her, scare her, be a proper ghost about it. Then he notices the instant noodles stacked in her kitchen. And that nobody else is around. Just like that, the haunting is off and the babysitting is on. Kokkuri-san moves in to cook real meals and fix her strange life, which would be sweet if he had any idea how to handle a kid who talks like a wind-up toy and barely flinches at anything. His grand plan runs straight into a household of other spirits who show up uninvited, each with worse ideas than the last, and a girl who would honestly rather have ramen. Can a washed-up fox spirit with no believers left talk a self-proclaimed doll into eating her vegetables?
