Good Killer
He used to be a key man inside ARGUS, a shadowy outfit you did not ask questions about. Now Goode takes odd jobs for cash, and his partner Sura tags along with big innocent eyes and zero street smarts. Their assignments are never the good ones. Outsmart some aliens. Race a lunatic who is way too into shaving. Somebody has to do it, apparently. Then there are the friends. One is a grad student who builds useless machines with total confidence. The other is vain, funny, and allergic to staying out of the way. Every simple job turns into a circus the second these two show up. Goode wanted a quiet life away from ARGUS. Instead he gets chaos, unpaid favors, and people in trouble knocking on his door. Still, he keeps saying yes. Job after job, with a naive sidekick and three oddballs in tow, he bails out strangers who have nobody else. Makes you wonder what he is really running from, and whether ARGUS is truly done with him.
