In 2045, nobody sings anymore. Every track on your feed comes from MiucS, an app that writes and performs all of it, and people stopped asking questions a long time ago. Seria Aiba is out with her friends one afternoon when a voice cuts through the noise. A real one. Human. She follows it down streets she knows by heart and finds something standing in the shadows: a ghost, but wrong, something older that doesn't belong here. They call it a Great Ghost. That first meeting drags her into a fight she never asked for. There's TERA, an organization of psychics tracking these things, and there's a song, the Possession Requiem, that everyone seems to want and nobody will explain. What the singing has to do with the dead, and why Seria keeps being pulled back toward both, is the part nobody tells her. Bit by bit she starts living in the gap between the world everyone sees and the one that got erased. And the path she's on, if she keeps walking it, ends somewhere she probably shouldn't want to go: becoming a ghost herself. So what exactly did that voice want from her that day?
