![[C] CONTROL - The Money and Soul of Possibility](/uploads/anime/10163/p-sm.webp)

Hajime Ichinose is a high schooler in Tachikawa City, a place of 180,000 people just outside Tokyo. Then a being called J.J. Robinson puts a small notebook in her hands, and it turns her into a Gatchaman, one of the armored warriors who defend the planet. Her new teammate Sugane wastes no time dragging her underground, where a panda-like alien named Paiman explains the rules. They fight invaders. They stay hidden. Except Hajime will not stay hidden. She treats the whole thing like a game and starts greeting total strangers in the middle of a fight. The enemy is MESS, a strange force that eats through everything it touches, and nobody has figured out what it actually wants. The Gatchaman have the power to stop it, maybe, since even they don't fully understand where their strength comes from. Now a rookie who refuses to follow orders is standing in the middle of all of it, and the city has no idea what is about to hit it. Can a girl who won't keep a secret really be the one who saves everyone?
