A long time ago, God got nervous about what people might become and tore one world into two: Elde, where science rules, and Fandavale, where magic does. That arrangement held for ages. Then Cendrillon wakes up in Fandavale, and she is not interested in staying in her own half. Sōta is just a regular boy from Elde until a girl in a red hood shows up with a talking wolf named Val. Her name is Akazukin. She and her fellow musketeers have one job: keep Sōta alive. Because he is the key Cendrillon wants, and she has already sent her Nightmarelians after him. He has power he never asked for and cannot explain. So now a kid from the science side is hiding out in a magic land, guarded by fairy tale heroes who bicker more than they plan. Cendrillon wants both worlds under her thumb. Can a handful of musketeers really stop her before she gets her hands on the one boy who makes it all possible?
