In Hole, death is just another Tuesday. Magic users stroll in from their own world through a door, grab whoever they want, and turn them into experiments. Nobody in the slums can fight back. Nobody except one guy with a lizard head and a serious appetite. Caiman doesn't remember his real face or his real name. Some magician cursed him, wiped his memory, and left him looking like a reptile. Magic doesn't work on him, which helps. His two bayonets help more. Nikaido runs a restaurant called Hungry Bug and fights like a demon, and together they hunt down every magic user they can find, hoping one of them knows who did this. The problem is Caiman has no idea what he'll do when he finally finds the guy. Get his old life back? Maybe. But what if the answer he's been bleeding for is worse than the curse?
