Episode 4 · Doamayger-D

Doamayger-D

Kyougoku Daijirou is the fifteenth man in his family to run Amashoudou, a small sweets shop in Kyoto. He spends his days shaping wagashi, the delicate little confections that tourists photograph and locals eat without ceremony. Then he goes down to the basement and finds a giant robot sitting there. A robot. Under a candy store. The timing could not be worse. Monsters called Mekaijuu show up in the streets of Kyoto and start smashing things, and suddenly the guy who worries about bean paste consistency is the only one who can do anything about it. He climbs into Doamaiger D. He fights. Between battles there are still customers to serve and sweets to make, because rent does not care about giant monsters. So what does a pastry chef actually know about piloting a machine like that? And who parked it under his shop in the first place?
