Dirty Pair
Call the World Welfare Work Association when your life falls apart, and they promise to send highly trained Trouble Consultants to fix whatever mess you are in. Sounds reassuring. Then two women show up, Kei and Yuri, and the neighborhood starts losing windows. The pair gets results, no question. Planets stop burning, hostages walk free. The catch is the bill that arrives after: collapsed buildings, wrecked ships, a city block that used to be there. Their bosses at WWWA know the damage report by heart, and the nickname the galaxy gave these two is not a compliment. Dirty Pair. It stuck for a reason. So the real question is not whether Kei and Yuri can save you. They probably can. It is whether anything you own will still be standing when they finish, and whether you should have just handled the problem yourself.
