Johnson pushes paper by day and dreams about space by night, until a weird hallucination drops a whole other life into his head: a pirate named Cobra, a gun fused to his left arm, a partner called Lady Armaroid. Just a dream, right? Then a casino win puts him across the table from Vaiken, a mob boss who remembers losing to Cobra face to face. Vaiken swings, the arm answers, and Johnson's past comes flooding back. Turns out the disguise is over. Cobra walks out of hiding with Lady Armaroid at his side, and the Pirate Guild, the galaxy's biggest crime syndicate, now has a very personal problem on its hands. Old rivals crawl out of the woodwork wherever he lands. Fine by him. There are treasures to chase, scams to bust, strangers to help, and a Guild to tear down, one planet at a time. So how long can one pirate and one android stay ahead of every bounty hunter in the galaxy?
