Tsukushi Tsukamoto is the kind of kid you walk past without a second look. No talent, no presence, nothing that stands out. Jin Kazama is the opposite: a soccer prodigy everyone already knows about. Then comes a stormy night, and somehow their paths cross. Jin drags Tsukushi into the game, and just like that, the quiet boy is standing on a pitch he never asked for. Here is the strange part. Jin sees something in him. Not skill, not speed: a stubbornness that refuses to quit, the kind that keeps going even when his body is screaming at him to stop. Tsukushi runs until he can barely stand, all so he will not drag his teammates down. Pain, exhaustion, no shortcuts. He pushes forward anyway.
