Tatara Fujita drifts through middle school with no friends and no clue what he wants. Then some kids corner him for money. A stranger steps in and scares them off. Not a martial arts master, just a ballroom dance teacher named Kaname Sengoku. Tatara shows up at the studio without much enthusiasm. What he finds there throws him: Shizuku Hanaoka, a classmate, dancing like she was born for it. Something clicks. Standing in that room, with people watching and his body moving to music, he feels seen for the first time. So he starts practicing. Badly at first, then less badly, then with a hunger nobody around him expected. Now he is chasing something that scares him, against kids who have trained since they could walk, and the only person he really wants to impress barely notices him. Can a boy who spent his whole life invisible survive in a sport where everyone is staring?
