Episode 6 · Cue!

Cue!

The girls at AiRBLUE thought they had time. A brand new agency, a roster of voice actresses who had never stood behind a microphone in their lives. Practice first, confidence later, auditions somewhere down the road. That was the plan. Then Masaki Ootori walks in and drops it on them: Bloomball. A hit sports manga, and it is getting an anime. The whole team is going to audition for it. Right now. Sixteen girls, zero experience, one shot at a real role. The odds are not kind. This is the kind of industry that eats rookies for breakfast, and Bloomball is the biggest thing any of them could hope to touch. Some of them can barely keep their nerves steady in a practice room. So they train, they stumble, they push each other back on their feet, and each one has to figure out what she is even doing here. A debut like this can make a career overnight. It can also break someone who was not ready. Who among them actually has what it takes to stand in that booth when the moment comes?
