Cardcaptor Sakura
Sakura Kinomoto is ten, in fourth grade, and her biggest problem is getting to school on time. Then she opens a strange book in the basement and the cards inside blow out the door, across Tomoeda, gone. A tiny flying creature pops out of the book, calls himself Keroberos, and informs her she just unleashed the Clow Cards. Each one has a mind of its own and enough power to wreck the town. Kero hands her a key that turns into a staff. Catch them all, he says. Simple. Except the cards fight back, and Sakura is still a kid with homework and a best friend, Tomoyo, who keeps showing up with a camera to film every battle. Between sealing a card and sealing another, she has to act normal at school, keep the whole thing from her family, and figure out why a boy named Syaoran keeps glaring at her like she stole something. So a girl who can barely keep her room tidy is now responsible for every rogue card in the city. How long before one of them catches her instead?
