Chernobog is gone. Ash, despair, nothing left standing. Reunion did that, and they are not finished. Their fight is against every nation that treats the infected like garbage, and Oripathy spreads fast enough to make that fear real. Now their eyes are on Lungmen, a rich city with a nasty habit of throwing its sick people away. Ch'en watched Reunion burn her homeland to the ground. So when the rebels come for Lungmen, she takes her Special Inspection Unit to the front lines to hold the place, even if the place never held anyone like her. Across the battlefield, Amiya, the Doctor and the rest of Rhodes Island keep pushing back against Reunion wherever they can, and it is starting to look like they can actually slow them down. Then FrostNova steps in. She is a Reunion commander, and the cold that comes off her does not knock you out or blast you back. It creeps in. Anyone caught in her path freezes where they stand, slowly, until there is nothing left to save. The whole fight grinds to a halt against her, and no one on either side seems to know how to get past a woman who can turn the air itself into a grave. So what do you do when the enemy's power is not a punch, but a long, quiet wait?
