Amnesia
She wakes up on the first of August in the back room of the café where she works, and there is nothing in her head. No name, no faces, not even the reason she is lying on that floor. Two guys she supposedly knows, Shin and Toma, get called in to walk her home, and she smiles and nods along because admitting she has no idea who they are feels worse. Then a boy flickers into view. Only she can see him. Orion, a spirit, says her memory got wiped out because he happened to drop into her world, and now he is stuck with her until it comes back. Problem is, getting it back means pretending. Shin watches her too closely. Toma hovers like something bad already happened once. There is a boyfriend somewhere in this mess whose face means nothing to her, plus Ikki, Kent, and a guy who keeps standing just far enough away that she can never quite catch him. Every scrap she recovers drags her deeper into their lives, and none of it fits together the way it should. So who was she before August, and why does every answer she finds make the people around her look more like strangers?
