Itsuki Minami fights. That is what he does, that is what he is known for, and he never once thought about strapping on a pair of Air Trecks, the motorized skates everyone in town is obsessed with. Then a street gang of Storm Riders beats him bloody, and he limps home to a locked room he has never opened. Inside: a pair of AT and a box of stickers belonging to a crew called Sleeping Forest. One thing leads to another, and the punk who always wanted to reach what nobody else could is suddenly rolling through the streets himself. His name starts climbing. So he puts together a team of his own, because in this world battles between crews are fought for parts and for emblems, the patches that carry a team's whole pride, and losing one means losing everything you built. Itsuki has his friends Kazuma and Onigiri at his side, and he keeps pushing into fights that grow bigger and meaner with every win, claiming turf block by block. But the higher he climbs, the more dangerous the riders waiting for him become. Can a middle school brawler who only ever wanted to touch the sky really end up ruling it?
