Yumemiru Topo Gigio

AdventureComedy1988Nippon AnimationRating 6,16+HD

A little mouse in a space suit climbs out of his rocket and plants his feet on a street that looks nothing like home. He is the first mouse astronaut to cross the Milky Way, and that should be the whole story. Except he did not fly here from some launch pad down the road. He came from the year 2,388,400, which is so far ahead that nothing around him has been invented yet. So now he lives next door to a girl and her pet mouse, in a neighborhood full of cats and other mice, and he talks. To humans. They talk back. He makes friends fast, mostly because he is friendly and curious, and because nobody can quite figure out where he came from or how a mouse got picked for a space mission in the first place. The girl and her pet mouse stick close, the cats watch from fences, the other mice have opinions, and every ordinary day turns into something else entirely. But if Topo Gigio already knows how everything ends, why does he keep poking around in a time that is not his own?
