Two days of the Inter-High are already in the books, and for the Souhoku High riders nothing went the way they wanted. Bruised legs, empty tanks, a scoreboard that refuses to lie. So they take all that frustration and stuff it into the final day, the hardest stage of the whole national tournament, where the heat alone is enough to make you quit and where every pedal stroke feels like dragging concrete. Then comes the wall. Hakone Academy rolls out with talent that borders on unfair, and Kyoto Fushimi plays a colder game entirely, with Akira Midosuji pulling strings and picking apart anyone who panics. Three teams want the same jersey across the line first, and only one gets it. Souhoku are not backing down, though. They do not care what tricks the others have ready, because whoever crosses that finish line first is the one laughing at the end. Can Souhoku hold on to their crown, or does Hakone take back the title of kings? Or does the calculating Midosuji steal the whole thing while everyone watches the other two?
