Wizard Barristers

Wizard Barristers: Benmashi Cecil · ウィザード・バリスターズ～弁魔士セシル
Fantasy2014ArmsRating 6,213+HD

Tokyo, 2018. Regular people walk the same streets as magic users, and the law has grown teeth to keep them in line. Break the rules and you end up in a courtroom built for spells, where the defense is handled by wizard barristers. Cecil is the youngest one ever to take the job, and she is still learning how cruel the job can get. Then her first cases start piling up, and nothing is as clean as the textbooks promised. A client swears they never cast a thing, evidence points the other way, and everyone watching seems to want a verdict more than the truth. Cecil has her magic, her team, and not much else to work with. Every trial drags her deeper into a system that was rigged long before she showed up, and the people she defends are running out of time. Can a rookie barrister really outsmart a court that already decided who is guilty?
