Witches never really went away. They just got good at hiding. Now and then one of them robs a bank with a thought or burns down a building, and when the police can't touch it, the Solomon organization steps in. Their hunters work in the shadows, backed by churches and governments, and nobody argues with the results. Then fifteen year old Robin Sena lands in Japan. Fresh out of training in Italy, shipped to the STN office in Tokyo where a man died not long ago and things don't add up. She's a pyrokinetic, which means she's the very thing she was sent to hunt. The local branch has a habit that unsettles her too: witches get taken alive, locked in a lab, and studied. That's the official story, anyway. Her real orders came from headquarters, and they amount to one thing: find out what Japan is hiding. So she works cases with a team that doesn't trust her, sits on secrets she can't share, and watches an elixir called Orbo do its quiet work on people like her. The witches on the street want her dead. Her own colleagues might want her in a cell. Which one is the bigger threat?
