In the thirty-first century, Ulysses does something no one else would dare: he kills the giant Cyclops to save his son Telemachus and a group of children. A clean rescue. A hero's moment. Then the gods of Olympus wake up, and they are not pleased. Their punishment is strange and cruel. Ulysses has to cross the universe of Olympus with a crew that lies frozen in their seats, unable to speak or move, while he pilots the ship alone. Only one thing can wake them and send him home to Penelope: the Kingdom of Hades. Nobody knows where it is. So he flies. Through space that belongs to old gods, past monsters and traps, with his son and the children as his only living company. Every stop could be the one, or it could be the last. What happens when a man finally reaches a place even the gods won't name out loud?
