The Three-Eyed One
A boy named Sharaku wears a bandage across his forehead. It hides a third eye. If that eye ever opens, the child disappears and something else takes his place: an evil sorcerer who wants to rule the world, commands demons, and carries a red harpoon wand called Red Condor. So the bandage stays on. Here is the twist. Sharaku has no idea. With the eye sealed, he remembers nothing about his other half, not the magic, not the demons, not the plans to crush mankind. He walks around like any ordinary kid while the thing inside him waits. The people around him carry the weight he cannot feel. Every day is a quiet standoff, and every day the seal could slip. A bump on the head, a moment of rage, a stranger who knows too much: any of these might do it. How long can a bandage hold back a sorcerer who is already living in the same small body?
