Shidou has ten Spirits sealed, and that should feel like a win. It doesn't. Isaac Westcott has stopped scheming and started a war, throwing everything Deus Ex Machina has at Ratatoskr just to corner one boy. The organization bleeds resources it doesn't have, and Shidou is the prize everyone is hunting. Then comes the part that turns his stomach: he has died hundreds of times already. He only keeps breathing because someone keeps pulling him back. Kurumi Tokisaki, the Spirit of Time, holds the key, and her real plan is nothing like what he assumed. She wants the Spirit of Origin dead, even if that erases every Spirit from existence. To stop her, or maybe to understand her, Shidou has to seal her power and jump into the past, chasing fragments of his own memory that might explain what he actually is. Meanwhile DEM keeps advancing, and the clock is running out. Can he really save the girl who has been saving him all along, without losing everyone else in the process?
