Episode 11 · Super Cub

Super Cub

Koguma has nothing. No parents, no hobbies, no friends, no clue what she even wants. She is a second year in high school, and most days she just exists. Then one summer afternoon she wanders into a scooter shop with barely enough cash to get by. The price tags make her turn right around. That is when the owner stops her. A used Honda Super Cub, ten thousand yen. She takes it. She has no idea what that little machine will do to her life. Every morning now she rides it to school. The engine sputters, the town rolls past, and somewhere along those roads she runs into Reiko. Bit by bit, this girl who had nobody starts to have somebody. So what exactly is waiting for Koguma at the end of all these small rides?
