Soul Eater
In Death City, kids go to a school run by Death himself. The place trains living weapons: humans who can turn their bodies into scythes, pistols, whatever their partner needs. To graduate, a weapon has to eat 99 corrupted souls and one witch's soul. That last part is the catch. Maka swings a scythe named Soul, a boy who plays it cool and pretends he doesn't care. Black Star yells before he thinks, and Tsubaki quietly cleans up after him. Death the Kid refuses to fight unless everything is perfectly symmetrical. They bicker, they study, they hunt. Somewhere out there, witches and worse are hunting back. Every team wants to be the first to finish the list. But what happens when the souls you're collecting start to feel less like monsters and more like people?
