Some bandits make the classic mistake: they pick a fight with Lina Inverse, lose badly, then hire Naga the Serpent to get even. The two sorceresses meet, exchange pleasantries, and accidentally torch about half the local forest. Then they decide they'd rather be friends. The bandits get finished off for good, and in the loot, two coupons for a hot spring resort. Free is free, so off they go to Mipross, an island famous for its springs and not much else. Except Lina can't relax. Strange dreams keep following her, and they got worse the moment she set foot on the island. Then the king shows up with a request, and suddenly her vacation turns into demons, secret plots, and some very ugly murders. Just the relaxing getaway two witches needed. What exactly is buried on the Island of Promise, and why does it keep calling Lina by name?
