Arc picked a skeleton avatar back at character creation, and the joke followed him across worlds. So he keeps his helmet on and his hood up, and tries not to scare anyone before he has said a word. Luvierte looks like a good place to start over. He needs coin, so he signs up as an adventurer and takes whatever quests come his way. Turns out his old game stats came with him. Bandits bothering a couple of girls on the road barely register as a warm up. He hits too hard, moves too fast, and every good deed drags him deeper into a mess that has nothing to do with him. Because there is something bigger moving under all of it, and a lone skeleton who just wanted to make rent keeps stumbling into the middle of it. Can a man with no face keep doing the right thing when the whole world is about to pick sides?
