Chihiro Komiya has been running a household since he was old enough to hold a dustpan. Then his mother dies, and the elementary schooler is left with no home, no relatives, nothing. Out of nowhere a flashy stranger named Madoka Takatori shows up claiming to be his mother's brother. Chihiro says no thanks. Then he sees the mansion. Trash piled in corners, dust thick enough to write in, and his hands are twitching before his brain catches up. Madoka watches him scrub one room spotless and makes a new offer: live here, do all the housework, get paid for it. Chihiro agrees on the spot. What he does not notice until it is too late is the frilly maid uniform, handmade, waiting for him. Now a kid who just lost everything is dusting chandeliers in lace cuffs while his eccentric uncle grins from the doorway. The job comes with a salary and a roof, sure. But what exactly is Madoka getting out of this arrangement, and why does a boy with nowhere else to go keep showing up to work in that outfit?
