Kaede wakes up with a pounding head and a problem the size of a small car standing in her apartment. A dinosaur. She brought it home drunk last night. That much she can piece together. Not exactly the pet anyone plans for, but this one turns out to be surprisingly easy to live with. He's tidy, low maintenance, and never complains. He slurps ramen. He watches TV. He's weirdly good at cards. So Kaede, a gal with zero paleontology skills, just rolls with it and starts figuring out her new roommate one gag at a time. The two of them settle into a routine that makes no sense on paper but works anyway. Except a dinosaur does not exactly blend in, and keeping him fed, hidden, and happy around other people is a whole other mess. Can a girl who can barely remember last night really handle a prehistoric housemate for good?
