Shiba Inuko-san
Chako Ishibashi goes to a normal school and sits through normal classes, and the girl at the desk beside hers is Shibainuko-san. Chako stares. She can't help it. Because her classmate is not a girl at all, not even close. She's a dog. A full on Shiba Inu, fur and floppy ears and everything, sitting upright in a school chair like it's the most natural thing in the world. Here's the part that really messes with Chako's head. Nobody else seems to notice. The whole class treats Shibainuko-san like just another student, and honestly, she acts like one. She's polite. Sweet. She does that little head tilt. Chako and her best friend Naho keep waiting for someone to say something, and nobody ever does. So the days roll on, full of small dumb moments between the three of them, and Chako keeps circling the same question she can't shake. Is she losing her mind, or is everyone around her just fine with a dog doing homework?
