Summer break. Jun Sakurada is finally catching up on everything he missed while shut inside his room, hunched over books in the library, and Shinku spends her days at his house with the other dolls, passing the time like nothing is wrong. He's even getting ready to walk back through the school gates. For once, the house feels calm. Then Shinku starts having the dreams. Suigintou's defeat plays over and over behind her eyes, the ache of it, even though the fight had to happen. Waking from one of them, she spots Suigintou's little helper spirit fluttering nearby, chases it, and finds something she never expected: a seventh doll, Barasuishou, awake and walking around. None of the sisters have ever seen her before. Not once. And that's the part that settles over Shinku like a weight. The last doll showing up means the Alice Game is entering its final stretch, and the final stretch means the sisters will have to turn on each other, with their lives as the price. So she pulls away from the others, saying less, keeping her distance, while Jun has no idea what's eating at her. If winning means losing all of them, is winning even something she wants?
