Akihabara turned into just another block of office buildings. The neon is gone, the arcades are quiet, and the few shops still selling manga are hanging on by a thread. People don't even remember what they used to love. That's the real problem, because every anime and manga lives inside someone's memory, and when a virus wipes out a title, it vanishes from the world completely. Posters, discs, whole series. Gone, like they never existed. Which is where the twelve girls come in. They work out of a tiny store tucked away in a corner of the district, and their job is to dive into these infected stories and fight the virus head on before another one gets erased. Every rescue is a race against forgetting. Mess up, and a piece of someone's childhood disappears for good. They're trying to bring Akihabara back to what it was, one saved title at a time. But can a dozen girls really hold onto everyone's memories when the whole city has already moved on?
